The fifth installment of the Lily Adler mystery series, this novel follows the mystery-solving “Lady of Quality” Lily Adler and her companions. Blackmailed into untangling family secrets, finding a lost will, and solving the murder of a deceased uncle, Lily and her companions face danger and intrigue at every turn. Due to this novel being a bit slow on the uptake, this is not my favorite of the Lily Adler series. Recommended for fans of clean mysteries, both in content and language, lovers of Regency settings, and is perfect for fans of Deanna Raybourn’s Veronica Speedwell mysteries.
