Brief Response

This is a very slow-paced novel that was difficult to read through, but it isn’t purposeless. The characters touched on topics that aren’t openly discussed in many cultures, especially Korean culture, including anxiety, burnout, having a job you love over earning a lot of money, etc. However, this is not an exciting read. Those who enjoy books that make them slow down and reflect may enjoy this story. This translated work includes non-translated phrases commonly used in the Korean language and was interesting to come across.
