This occasionally nauseating but always hilarious Food Network program sees 12-16 contestants battle head-to-head in Anne Burrell’s “boot camp” to see who can become the no-longer-worst cook in America. “Recruits” are taught by renowned chefs how to navigate food preparation and handle kitchen equipment, at the end of each episode, a recruit is sent home. Each episode has a knowledge check, a skill drill and an elimination round where the teams compete to become the last one standing. Fans of Food Network competitions will enjoy this hilarious show while getting the opportunity to learn the techniques we see regularly used in other programs.
